The Best Chocolate Hummus

Dessert hummus is all the rage right now and for good reason! It’s high in protein and fiber for a more filling, healthier chocolate dip. The best part is, it’s made with ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen! This hummus is delicious spread on toast, or as a dip for fruit and pretzels! This hummus is the perfect addition to any dessert table for a healthy option that everyone will love!

Ingredients:

-1.5 cans chickpeas

-1/3 cup nut/seed butter (I used peanut)

-1/4 cup cocoa powder

-1/3 cup maple syrup

-1/2 cup plant-based milk

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-Dash of salt if using unsalted chickpeas

-2 tbsp mini chocolate chips 

Instructions:

1. Blend together ingredients except the chocolate chips until combined and smooth. Make sure to scrape down the sides as you go.

2. Fold in chocolate chips and enjoy!
